I am getting the same "unknown region" error message.
CIC head unit retrofitted with an emulator.
The DVD (tries several commercial ones) plays for a split second then that error messages pops up.

Any idea why and how to solve please?

About SOS error, you only get it if you have TCU box.
If you have mulf/ high mulf, then no issues.

If you get stuck as SOS error, just give me a shout and I'll pm you the solution.
Done it on a car and its easy to deal.

I have the sos error. Can you please help me code it out. I don't have the 612 on my VO so not sure where to go from there.
