JB+ and BT Scan Inside
So I cranked up the JB+ and got my BT today so I scanned. Here were my codes:
Interestingly no other codes. Is there a specific place I should look to find other codes to clear before going into service? maybe you still haven't hit the full boost yet?
i guess the two codes are from disconnecting the battery and golf-tee mod.

too bad I never disconnected the battery. and yup its from unplugging the actuator plug (lazy golf tee mod LOL).
I went to 3/4 boost. I guess its time to crank it soon. What else should I look under with the BT? |

So you convinced the wifey into getting the BT eh? I should have mine shortly decided on the enthusiast for now and will upgrade later to pro.
The JB+ gives true values with boost via OBDII correct?

Thanks for the offer. I might as well just get my own since I'll be using it quite frequently

What makes you assume you are post 29.2, did you have the software updated by a BMW center, it would be on the service receipt if so? Post should only be 3/08 production to current and if not there is a possibility of no codes. Do you have 93 octane fuel available, if not I wouldn't suggest, per BMS, of going past 3/4. Let us know what you find as this could be very interesting news. Also how do you like the Bav Tech tool? Review would be great! Thanks. |

Going out on a limb since I don't have my BT cable yet, but I believe so. I believe you can view and clear the access log. It probably is just a log with timestamps of when the DME was accessed.

I know BT is Bavarian Technic but what is JB+? Would either of you know if BT can recognize, read & clear DTCs for the European version 2009 320d? Note, this vehicle has an ED (Efficient Dynamics) Auto Stop/Start system in it.

That would probably be a question to either the BT Vendors or to Bavarian Technic. Call BT and ask... Their great guys!
