Does anybody here knows if I buy a set of tpms for my new wheels would it work and connect to my car? Don't it needs to be programmed?

It should work, make sure you buy the right ones. Tpms changed after 2009. All you have to do is reset your on your dash or idrive when you mount the wheels

Why not use the TPMS that you have on your car currently for the new wheels

just because some people dont want to spend time dismounting tires, taking off tpms, remounting tires. Unless you're going to throw away your tires from your current wheels. Also resale value for wheels with tpms are higher

True, I bought my wheels and tires from a shop that did installs as well so they gave me a discount for taking the TPMS off my stock wheels and putting them on my new ones. I was pretty happy about that but it took a LONG time

Because if it might be cheaper in the long run to just purchase a new set of sensors and what BRGmatthew said is true too. Selling it might be easier and slightly higher value if a right buying comes along.

Mines a 09.

Thanks for your help. I may get the OEM sensors from Tishcer to avoid any issues except they're $325 for the set.

Crap! Just done test fitting my wheels. Not really feeling them anymore cuz it's so bling! What do you guys think?

Front

Rear

Front might have clearance issues between wheel and coils

Anybody has a pair of small 3mm spacers that I can borrow?

well I said after 09 but its tricky with 09, if your build date is like 08/09 then you start using the 2010 tpms lol. My lci build date is 06/09 so i still use the older model tpms lol

I like the polished look, maybe you wont like the way they look but put some tires and mount them on and maybe theyll look good. And you're very lucky, I have a 3mm spacer that I dont need. Trade for your bbk?

Yeah, by looking at it without rubber and off the ground is too hard to tell. Going to slap on some Hancock RS-3's and go from there.

Woot, that is great! Are you looking to sell the spacers?

Kinda donk, I myself don't dig excessive chrome, I think it's ugly and distracting from the rest of the car. If it were a Chrysler 300, that's fine though LOL!

I myself got my car into the shop to install the parts I have(CF hood, M3 Rep front, MSport rear), can't wait to see the results. Had to go local because TNT is too damned far, but with a combined experience of 50 years, I'm sure my car and I are in good hands. Now, if only BimmerKit hurried the hell up with my Duke diffuser.

In other news, when you leave a utility bill sitting under magazines....

Haha, all good! I am sure not too many will dig this. Also, those aren't chrome although they do look very like chrome, they are polished.

I'm getting the Titanium finished F14s once my car's body kit is finalized. Dangling cash and being active duty knocked of $600 of the total bill. Next year I'll work on getting some KW coil overs.

The titanium brushed was my original choice then changed my mind after seeing my friend's wheels with his Super Black Coat finish on his AME's.

Don't forget to post some pic's after you're done!

Of course! The titanium looks good on SG, I wanted to do gunmetal if I was able to repaint my car.
