Professional Radio-LCD Screen

I have the Professional Radio (CD73) on a 2006 330i. I need a new LCD screen. Seems everywhere I have tried the LCD is out of stock or not available. Searching e-bay, there are a lot of Professional Radios for sale. Are ALL professional radios the same? As in will the radio and/or screen from any professional radio work?

I understand the features may be coded differently. I could either re-code the features or simply remove the LCD screen from the e-bay radio and install it in mine. Thoughts?

Recode with k/d can cable is possible with and 06.
Getting a replacement screen for your existing radio
is probably easier.

I cannot find the screen available anymore. I was thinking of finding a radio on ebay and taking the lcd screen from it. Are ALL professional radios the same lcd screen?

I would try programming first.
There is a small chance if it came from a car
with the exact same options it would be plug
and play.

There are variations on the cd73 the newer US ones come with HD radio
and SAT tuner built in . In Europe and out of the US some come without
a Most Bus . There was a version in europe that came with built in USB and
Bluetooth.

After 3/07 you need a ICOM cable to code the sound system.
