Thanks!
My understanding of what the flash overwrites is that it doesn't affect coding. However, that's just my interpretation. To get a final answer the best thing to do is to email Cobb tuning directly

Thanks Rader, I hope you're right. I'll likely send Cobb an email, but figured there must be at least one forum member that coded his or her car before installing Cobb that would know the answer.

You might try asking in the coding section, Cobb is a REALLY popular tune and I think a few people over there that don't post in the N54 section have it.

No -- My cars coded (key fob open/closes windows, side marker delete, euro hazards, angel eye drls) and I've flashed back from map to map & everything is fine. IF you completely uninstall & reinstall then I can't promise anything.

Wont affect coded cars since coding is not done in the ecu but other modules.

Thanks Enrita, this confirmation is exactly what I was hoping for.

Thanks Rader for the initial hypothesis, looks like you were right all along.

Any one have a hold of the beta meth maps? Getting meth installed Monday but not having it tuned to he Monday after. I would like to run meth this week and would also like the beta map to use as a base for the tuner!

I could be wrong but I think the beta tester maps are VIN locked.

looking forward to seeing your results
How's the Cobb been working for you?

a few weeks and the OTS meth maps should be released. Everyone just hang tight, get your failsafes working correctly and be ready

I'm honestly not interested in an OTS map. To me meth is the kind of thing that needs to be custom tailored to your specific car/mods.

ASAP I'll be getting my ATP tune done and I'll be reviewing some ATR tunes from a VERY well informed and experienced member. Hell I'll be giving ATR a go myself.

Wow that sucks lol well hopefully it will be up and running soon. And are you running the meth without the tune?

Yep it's installed and functional, I've just got it turned off.

Honestly, I'm not sure when I'm getting tuned. ASAP. There was/is a big between the ATP and my ROM. And yes, I'll be doing a meth and a straight 93 pump tune.

I don't know where you live but i know its in my "area". You are welcome to try the maps I've made on my car by using my AP. It will give you a good idea what the car can do. Mine is unmarried while I have some work done.

Has anyone seen numbers from a cobb/meth combo yet? I assume they will be around where the procede/meth combo's numbers are, and possibly higher with a protune?

They don't exist, either Protuners are not supporting the market with shop cars showing off the capabilities of ATP, or there are holes in the ATPs ability to control fueling outside of stock operation.

Thank you, sir. I appreciate it, but hopefully it won't be long until the bugs in the software are worked out

They are around. I have been running meth maps, e85 maps, and combinations of all of the above. I just don't go to dynos often. I picked up 4mph at the track last time out when running my first revision of the map through to 7 passes of revisions later. Unfortunately I also have to change my clutch because every other pass would straight slip out of the hole.

You using early release ATR? Do share...

On the E85 map, you constrained to 34% fuel trimming or did cobb hook up a fuel scalar? In other words, do you have the ability to tune for 100% e85 or would it simply ride the fuel trim limit?
