What's the point??

..of o2 sensor holes on the catless downpipes and exhaust?? Why are the not closed at the bottom... Reason I say this is because I'm running a catless setup but can't/shouldn't run leaded race gas as not to damage these sensors that currently aren't being used for anything (faked out using o2 simms)...

If you ask why leaded, why not unleaded, many times unleaded isn't available where I am...

Just run xylene to boost unleaded octane. Leaded is bad for other things besides 02 sensors and cats if used enough.

I said I was catless! Absolutely don't use leaded if you have your cats on, you'll damage them severely. I only used leaded, ONLY, because unleaded was unavailable "AND" because I'm running totally catless.

There is nothing that leaded gas can do to your car other than ruin cats if you have them and the O2 sensors...its just more stinky and bad for the environment...

The ECU depends on the O2 sensors to run.

I checked with a local airport and they only have low-lead 100 octane. I can't find anywhere else to get high octane gas. I am stuck with 93...

so I can see OP's point about leaded, too bad I can't use leaded with my car.
