I just replaced all 6 injectors last night. Here are my comments of the install.

1) Not sure what tool people use to remove the injectors from the head but I used 2 zip-ties same length and wrapped them on each side to get a nice pull. I used one hand to slightly wiggle the injector and other hand was used to tug. They came out fairly easy.
2) As for coding the injectors. Use the INPA for F-Series as opposed to BMW Standard Tools 2.12. If you have Windows 64 bit all you have to do is install and open the program in XP SP3 Compat mode with Admin Rights.
3) For people that have misfires and have 29F3 code for low pressure fuel sensor. I would replace that first. I had misfire codes, o2 sensor codes, and 29F3. Replaced injectors, plugs, coils, o2 sensor and still have 29F3.

I have code my injector before and it was great. No issue what so ever. So when I swap injector to a new index 12, it doesn't allow me. The number on the bottom seems to have a cap. I punch in 64.1 for top and bottom 2.95. But every time I do that it will have an error (something in Germany about please pay attention to the permitted range of values. ) If i enter 2.88 it will take that but nothing higher.
Part number 13537585261-12. All of my other injector at index 12 as well..

I have a 2007 BMW 328i and I'm using the same software but it doesn't have to option injector coding in MSV80. I wonder you can use MSD80 to code a 328i. I've also bought Foxwell NT510 thought I could use it to code the injector but NO it doesn't give you that option either. I don't wanna spend $700 for the Bavarian Technic Pro when I only need it once. ...

Changed out one of my injectors yesterday to address a misfire. Fairly straightforward once you get the engine cover off. I had a misfire on cylinder 3. Injectors on 1-3 were index 11 so I just replaced #3 with an index 12.

Thankfully this fixed my issue. I had already had walnut blasting and plugs changed. Tried moving ignition coils around and none of that ty fixed the misfire.

Programmed new injector using Foxwell tool.
