west coasters, are your 2k7's rust free?

On my Nissan forum, we have 15+ y.o. cars, and it's amazing when you see a Phoenix or LA car--absolutely no rust, on parts where us East Coasters have had corrosion cause things like subframes to rust-out.

My 335i has seen snow only about 6X in its life, yet everything is rusted. Such as the hubs/rotors....

I was curious if LA and Phoenix cars are simply rust-free to include the undercarriage (what you can see), hubs, rotors, exhaust, etc.....

07 rust free. Every car I've ever owned has pretty much been rust free because like u said I live in California and Arizona.

My 07 is rust free as well, i live in illinois. it was a California car, ive never driven it in the snow.

MA no rust because no driving in salt - 2k8 still like new underneath - my civic si has more rust and is 8 months old but has seen salt!

06 330xi no rust. It came from New Jersey and its been in LA for a couple years now.

My condolences to you east coast car enthusiasts. I'd hate for my car to be rusted and salted.

Interesting...seems like salted and brined roads wreak havoc on cars. imho a body is still gonna go 10-15 yrs. with no rust, but I mean the chassis....

The 1995-1999 Nissan has a subframe rip right off of the lower rad support if not replaced...it was amazing seeing an original 1998 from Phoenix looking mint. The only thing is rubber parts that may go bad, but no rust at all.....

Not joking my car has seen snow 6X and it might as well be 6 years!
