Just as a follow-up I did order the European Diesel formulation of Castrol Edge. While VW, MB and Porsche standards were listed on the bottle, BMW-LL04 was not! But contacting Castrol they sent me a PDF of the detailed information/listing on the oil which does include BMW. Not sure why they decided not to print it on the bottle. The European formula is full synthetic.
