Amazon TRW control arms.....
Has anyone used the TRW M3 control arms and tension arms off Amazon? They are much more cost-effective than anywhere else, comes in under $230 for the set of 4 arms. Assume the bushings and all other things are equal, just with the BMW and M bits ground off.

All the M3 TRW arms fit our cars except the rear lower traction bar I believe. I got the 10 piece kit from FCP Euro and install was pretty easy except for some frozen ball joints.
It really transformed the car for me, much more stable. |

You all convinced me. I'm going to order the four front TRW M3 arms off amazon and start there.
Overall the 335d sport suspension feel uninspiring at the limit. I get that unsure pucker factor anytime I push deep into a hard fast turn. Hoping M3 bits fix this. |

The front M suspension bits will improve the ride greatly for spirited driving. If you want to correct the the uncertainty you're feeling hard into corners, the rear subframe bushings needs to be addressed. I installed the Turner Motorsport solid aluminum bushings and can't imagine the car without them.

The exception isn't lower traction bar. It is called M3 rear toe links. The 335 has a different length. You can't use the M3 toes unless you change to M3 frame and knuckles. I'm going with aftermarket rear toe links from bimmerworld.

Have M3 front and rear controls, with aftermarket rear toe links as well. The car is pretty planted now. Need an alignment still for the rear changes I did but overall better improvement over stock. I still need to install those Solid SFB's that I've had for 2 months lol

Sorry but those won't fit on our cars. I wanted those too but requires M3 specific sub frame and M3 rear knuckles. The 335 toes links are longer. I did find some used M3 frames but all of the changes start to cascade as knuckles causes other considerations like brakes, perhaps. I never did get a definative answer on whether 335 brakes would work on the M3 knuckles. I did find some threads discussing changing 335 brakes over to F30 ones. Once again, never got the skinny on F30 brakes working on M3 knuckles. You have to keep in mind the internal shoes that are for the emergency brakes. Feuer may be along in a little bit to set us straight,

To make sure we aren't talking about different things, can you post a link of this upgrade kit with the toe links please? Your earlier link to fcpeuro didn't have any toe links in it. Several threads over on suspension section showing the OEM M3 toe links are a no go with our 335d sub frame.

I think there's a couple of different versions some front, some rear and this one that's both.
