Wheels refurbed to bronze and I’m in love !!

So I recently had my MV3’s completely refurbished by the wheel specialist in fareham. I could not recommend them enough they did an incredible job and they look basically new!

I know it won’t be to many people’s taste but I love them and just thought I would make a thread so if people wanted to do the same they have some reference pictures.

I’m happy to answer any questions people might have... I’m watching Le Mans anyway 😂

I like them but I don't think the centre caps look right now. Would look much better with black BMW centre caps rather than blue

Yeah your right, the bottom two are after I had them done, the top one you can just see the new black and white caps. I thought exactly as you did when I saw them 😂

I like that, works really well on a black car. I was same as you when I refurbished to shadow chrome (silver car). Initially I thought they were too dark but now I think it suits the car well.... as long as they’re always clean lol

That does actually look really good. Quite a brave decision as it could've gone either way, but yeah really nice.
I wonder what they'd look like on a silver E91?

Here’s a side on picture! I don’t know if the Bronze would suit a silver car? But then again I didn’t know if they would look good on a black car 😂

I want a whole car pic lol. I have a Saphire black but had mine refinished with a silver from Mercedes that was similar to gunmetal.

Argh! I have a sapphire black E91 and have often wondered if some sort of bronze would go well! They look great!

Personally I think they would, there are many different shades and you could go for a satin finish instead of gloss!? I went for the gloss because I like shiny things

Also thanks everyone, wasn’t expecting such complements 😂

It's a good mod OP. I did my factory wheels in black and I think they look great. Also have my second set of alloys in black.

Your wheels remind me of some of the colours from high spec fishing reels. Probably a good way to judge combinations. Although the reel is probably more a gold than a bronze.

Nice thing with black wheels is they turn a kind of gun metal grey when dirty.
