Looking for quality 6000K range D1S.

Just wondering if anyone on here has used the PIAA super cobalt HID d1s bulbs or the Hella's. I have used a few different HID bulbs in my STi and the difference is significant with the higher quality bulbs. I have some crap no-name 6000K d1s's on my car now but there are hot spots in the beam and peripheral lighting and cutoff are terrible. I am looking for the best quality bulb for the money. Just wanted to know if it was worth the $450 for the PIAA's or if you guys had any other recommendations.
Thanks and yes I searched and did not find any direct answers.

Just the bulbs? Mtech. I believe Jlevi and some other vendors sell them.

I have the m-tec 6000K bulbs now and I'm not impressed. Very uneven light output and not all that bright.

So I just searched again with better luck after drinking a cup of coffee.
How about the Philips Ultinon vs. Osram Xenarc?? Does any reputable dealer in US even sell these?

The BMW projectors are not all that great to begin with. If you've ever been in an S2K or TL, you will see a big difference.

Besides MTEC, we also carry the Philips D1S (6k, 6700k, and 8500k)

Osram Xenarc 6000k is known to be the same as PIAA Colbot... If you Google on Internet, ppl are saying that they PIAA simply rebadge the Xenarc 6000K

I really love my Philips 6700k D1S bulbs that I got from E92-Lighting. If you are looking for a ever slight hint of blue/purple color these are perfect. They reflect things so well off the road and everything seems so much more whiter on the floor. Really great product if you are looking for some new bulbs in the 6000k area.

I have MTech 6k D1S bulbs and the color is just perfect for me. Though if I had a chance to go back, I'd probably get the Philips 6700k instead. Mtech is great, but it just isn't bright enough for me. Here's a comparison of it with stock.
