I'm not really sure, I need some fresh ideas. I was contemplating the 335 exhaust conversion but then I will be compromising the identity of the car. I'll also lose the black twin tailpipes so I'm not sold on that idea yet.

I like the idea of a gloss black diffuser and gloss black boot lip.

I was looking for some front end splitters but I couldn't find a decent set that fit right. Here's some which I bought and test fitted but then had to return as the fit was far from flush.

Oh Sorry, tbh in came in a mess and was very poor service, but decent bodyshop fixed it up and got all right again.
If you want details still I'll send to you.
I do like look of the black splitters, keep having thoughts of doing roof black, you thought of it?

Yeah I've thought of the whole bluewater/black theme throughout so black roof, black kidney grills, black mirror covers and front splitters, black boot lip, black diffuser and possibly black wheels in the future.

Perhaps a wrap would be the route to go down in the event that you don't like it or get bored of it. Would you go for black roof, bluewater sharkfin or would that look silly?

Yeah I would do it in wrap rather than paint, would have change fin to black also. I always liked the bluewater colour before I bought mine but thought it was a less wow did you see that car looking colour but with the chrome gone and black comes into it it looks really good

Looking good Ahmed!

Having seen the car in the metal, it does look great, and sits very well. Spec is impressive too. Those front splitters look well, so perhaps some proper OE BMW performance ones might fit better?

Thanks Matt.

Yeah the splitters are a tricky one. 2 fears I have is 1: the risk of scraping them although I don't think they will sit lower than the undertray/rubber strip below the front bumper and 2: the OEM price seems to be £270ish...per side! I don't fancy spending £500+ on some which is why I have been looking at aftermarket.

How's the wet sanding coming along, has the weather been a stalling block?

Getting there slowly! Ive done the same amount on both sides now, so front wings, door tops (down to handles) and rear three quarters. The weather and work are conspiring to slow progress. Will just do bits and pieces when I can.

I've wrote a thread out on Phone a few weeks back but will get car clean and decent photos next month after moved house. I got some splitters off eBay around £70 not the best fit but little silicone (to bond) and something to hold in place don't think would of got much better tbh

It will be well worth seeing the results in the flesh, perhaps I can catch you at a meet or something in the future.

I thought I'd share this, over £9k on the spec sheet. If the auto box was ticked, this would have been another £1,635.

They're great because the surround screws into the front bumper and the plate slots straight in so it's a clean look with no holes on display.

I found some on ebay, something like this:

That looks awesome mate. Love blue water and the 313's really set it off. One of the nicest e90 I've seen!
