4) White splodge on paintwork by passenger door handle. I suspect from searching Google that this could be suntan lotion. Any ideas on how to remove ? I also suspect the same on the interior a bit on the inside door panel.

Hi everyone!

I'm Karl, 22 from manchester. Just signed up to the forum yesterday so brand new to this, just bought a 07 reg 318i SE in sparkling graphite 2 or 3 weeks ago (only my second car) when i was on my R and R from afghanistan ( good way to spend the money iv earned over here). I only had two days to play with it before coming back out here, so dont have any pictures yet, but im returning to England in the next couple of days so I'll get some pictures taken and get them on here. Not looking to do much with it apart from maybe some new wheels because im not kean on the standard ones that are on it now.

Not a massive petrol head to be honest so hoping to pick up on a few things off of here haha

Hi - Gordon from Droitwich here. Picked up a 2009 325i E93 a few months back and joined a few forums. Previosuly been a Mercedes man (shock horror!) for past 15 years and this is my first BMW. To be fair its got a lot to live up to ..my last Merc was an SL500 which was just lovely to drive but bloody expensive to keep on the road!

Anyway I will be around and like Karl above I am not a petrolhead but enjoy getting to know more about what you can/cant do with these cars...

Hi all,

I'm Damo from Kent. Just picked up a 2007 e90 335d M Sport in Lemans Blue and I love it...!!!! Don't know too much about them yet but am gradually finding my way about. Only the second BM I have owned, I did have an e30 323i about 10yrs ago and that was a pukka car back then I am also a stickler for old Fords and Sierra's seem to be my weakness.... as my username suggests lol.

Hello people just joined up I have recently purchased a 08 320d touring. I didn't have the best of starts with the car less than 24 hours of buying it a shifter selector pin sheared but that's all done and sorted now. Time to enjoy the ride.

Hi all,

First time BMW owner. Bought a 2010 318d M Sport saloon around 5 weeks ago after years of VW & Audi ownership. Took a few miles to get used to RWD after 20 years of FWD car ownership. Bought an E90 rather than an Audi A4 (B8) as boot was big enough to fit golf bag in without removing any clubs.

New car is Silver with black leather interior. Will post pictures soon. Only get the one with my kids in the boot so far!

Hi everyone,

I'm gutted... I should have been taking delivery of my 318i m SP edition coupe today, I went to the dealer, signed off the last of the paper work and as the sales woman and me walked to the handover room the body-shop guy came along shaking his head. Turns out they had just put a 18 inch scratch down the bonnet while it was getting polished up.
So I've had to come away with a courtesy car and a big pet-lip while they re-spay the bonnet

Can anyone clear up this one question, is the 320 the same as the 318 apart from the obvious CC size?
When I've been looking for accessories on the web alot of places don't list the 318 they all seem to start from the 320??
