Yes. I am running a JB4 /MHD Hybrid backend flash but I modifed the timing and fuel scalars. Similar to the old backend flashes before they pulled timing way back on them (currently 12 degrees up top).

Went to the track ..again

Wasn't planning on a another trip to the strip this year but my friend wanted to go. Thought I would try the 335i RWD for the first time in 4 years. Wasn't expecting too much as the 3 year old continentals are pretty hard. Was kinda rushed the first pass and hardly brake boosted. Left in second and car felt like a dog in second. I had 2nd limited to 14psi to help it hook. 3rd and 4th felt great at 22 to 23 PSI. I was astounded to see an 11 sec time slip and nearly 125mph trap. Made 3 other passes and couldn't back it up as the track got worse. On 3rd pass I spun all of second gear at the same 14psi. Was on 94 + meth and 8oz race gas concentrate on 1/2 tank. Planning to get some 17" rims and drag radials for the rear to really help. (FBO E90 with GC lights.)

anything with a 12 is def. not a record, im sure someone swapped a single turbo into it and went low 11s if not 10s.

New personal best in a light rain and not the greatest DA considering the temps(high humidity; rain and light snow hit the track after this pass)

Nice pass and great 60'. What is your launching technique? Traction control on/off?

Yep. Last Sunday of the year. It was dead. They might be open weds but weather doesn't look good.

I'm done until the car gets some much needed love. Got my goal for a mostly stock car.

I'll go for a new goal with more mods/different setup next year.

I'm just super excited for doing this;

Stock intake
Stock downpipes
160k mile turbos that rattle like a sonofabitch

And I still haven't gone through the car maintenance wise. Needs trans service, needs valve cover, needs fluids done, etc

I'm awd on all season run flats, so I have to be cautious about launch.

All I do is full press DSC off. Brake pedal full down, bring it on boost partial throttle and on second to last yellow go wot. Leave on on wot right before green.

Doesn't give it too much time on the converter and not so much that it will blow through the tires or converter.

I do leave in first.

Very impressive for stock down pipes and run flats. I have hit 1.7x's on a couple passes but haven't been able to figure out why. Kicked myself after going to the track for not thinking to use my new 17" Xice snows as I did one of the 1.7's in the middle of winter on them lol.

I got a box full of Turbos with your name on it when you are ready to grab them. I can probably meet you half way depending on what day and time.

I ran my best 60ft times in my front wheel drive Sonata with snow tires in cold weather. Poor mans drag radial, lmao.

Nitto NT05R sizing and trap speed

Looking at getting Nitto NT05R drag radials 275/40/17 on a 9.5" rim for track use.

I plan to drive to the track with 18's (235/40 PS3) on the front so hopefully the car will be stable. Anyone have experience with this?

Looking at the speed calculator these will be around 2mph faster at 7000rpm which sounds good for my setup. I currently have 265/35/18. Something is out on the calculation as the speed of the 17" is shown as 135mph @7000 in 4th and the 18" is 133mph @7000. The only thing that comes to mind is converter slip as my log shows 6949rpm through the traps at 125mph? I thought the converter was locked up after the car is moving. Comments welcome.

Man your times are great. Can't wait to try again next year with E85 and some slicks in the rear. What do you guys recommend I fit for a tire and tire size on a 17x8 rim? I want to mount slicks on my winter rims.

I was looking at nitto nt05r as well. I don't care about street driving since I would mount the wheels at the strip.

If you don't care about street driving always get a real drag tire
