I-Drive and CPO?

So I purchased my E90 335i 6 weeks ago and have spent more time in the shop then the road! Long story short, my idrive is frozen on the BMW screen. I just dropped it off at another dealer than who I bought it from (they are closer) and idrive isn't covered under the CPO warranty! YGTBSM!! Worst case scenario $4000 to replace, needless to say I'm pissed and looking for any advice from forum members.
