Geniuses!!

The geniuses at BMW put a brace RIGHT over the strut tower! I just noticed it today as I wanted to adjust my Koni Yellows. There is no room for the nob to turn them.

Montreal Bimmer, Danny, or anyone else that has them, what do you guys do to adjust them?

ARGH!!!!

LOL, Chris, I forgot to mention, you have to losen the bar to get the knob on! I haven't had to readjust mine since install, but I did notice the bar blocking the top portion of the front dampers.

Thanks man, I had them put them on at 0 turns figuring I could easily play with them later. The rears are on at 3/4 turn. I noticed the front being a bit bouncy and I wanted to tighted that up a bit. So I can just loosen that bolt and and put it back when Im done?

Cool.

Fraggy,

How many turns from full soft are you running the front dampers now?

I have set mine at approx 40% from the full soft position on both the front and rear (forget how many turns that actually is).
Front is a wee bit too hard for my liking at that setting.

Im pretty soft at this point, but generally like it. I think they go 3 turns max and I am at 3/4 turns on the rears (too soft), and 1/2 turn on the fronts which feels nice.

so how do you like the Koni Yellows SportKit? are you riding comfortably with H&R now than the FSD you had before this?

Yes, overall much better. Its an excellent combo. A stiffer taunter ride than OEM ZSP, but smoother and much more comfortable as well.
