The problem is that the performance suspension doesn't lower the car by enough, that's the reason I've gone kw v2.

Mr. 5 what color are your springs? Black or yellow?
I have the 2006 E90 with sports package. Post 6/2006 so would it lower my car more than it already is with the sports package? My ride is crappy now most likely due to the run flats so would this kit make my ride any better or actually make it worse in your opinion. Thanks in advance!

I think you will find that Bilstein make the B4 dampers for 'lowered sport suspension'.
And connected to Eibach short springs you have yourself a performance kit for a lot less money. I just did this and my findings are as yours, simple cheap and I love it. And the dampers are IDENTICAL by the way The B4 for 'sports suspension' retail as oem replacements. But be aware you cannot fit regular length srings. The damper rods are shorter on the front struts - they are perfect for Eibachs I bought all new additional dampers (bumpstops) and dust covers as I threw mine away lat time i modded everythign - doh. Realoem will set you up with the part nos for these ornage bumpers if you need them. OEM might well just suffice.

For the record I have the old performance dampers installed with Eibach Prokit springs and the ride is lower and ZSP (stock-like). Again, it's worth noting that Mr5 was originally running the ZSP dampers and after he installed the old performance damper kit w/his stock springs he thought the ride/handling were much improved. |

I have the same question. I don't track my e90. Have been looking at KW V1's but with install it is still about 2k. Looking for the best non coilover setup option as well.

There's quite a few threads/reviews of owners who installed the PS from ZSP including me, and it's a resounding yes. Firmer but both ride quality and handling are improved. Perfect choice for an enthusiast's DD imo. Never tried KW V1; don't want to lower my car and wouldn't want to use progressive rate springs.

There are reviews out there for the PS, but few have the "NEW" PS kit as tischer calls/sells it.

Just so all know, the original performance kit, 33500429574, has been discontinued. No more $133 struts...

The newer V2 of the BMWPS kit is more aggressive (slightly stiffer) so they say, and it has a somewhat different front anti roll bar (same size as stock, but diff shape, etc.). Cost is in the $1250 range. |

Seems that the V1 got updated to the V2 a few years ago, then whatever was in stock went on sale with great pricing. But....the V1 and V2 essentially fit the same car. Hope they do go on sale!

I cant quite convince myself to throw down ~1300 bucks on that...going the FSD route on stock ZSP springs.
