Thanks for the help guys.

This is the code

Successfully coded:
Digital speedo
Start stop memory (Stays off now!)
Interior lights come on with double lock button.
Angel eyes on very high (although they look no different)

Just want to find out what's wrong with my airbag system

Up to now on mine I've coded:

Angel eyes full brightness all the time
Digital speed
Windows close with fob
Mirrors fold/unfold with fob
Customised welcome lights
Doors don't unlock when engine is turned off

There are loads of options that can be turned on/off

All depends on your build date if it can be done

If you punch the last 7 digits of your VIN into this website then it will give you your production date
http://www.bmwarchive.org/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html

My production date was just over a month before the car was registered.

Where abouts in the country are you?
Hey Col, production date is 01.12.2006. So I'm guessing it's a none starter for me?

There is an option for that but I haven't tried it, it would piss off all my neighbours I reckon.

Probably. That's a shame, I think it's something to do with the way it talks to the car. I reckon it can be coded, but just not with this app. Maybe a garage with autologic? But I'm guessing they would charge a bit more than a forum member

Bought the app, managed to code the angel eyes (although I can't notice much difference with them set at 'very high', maybe at night?) digital speedo and a few other things. Could get into the FRM module to change the wiper settings (wanted to set it so wipers always returned) however that's no biggy.

So as long as I can notice a difference with the angel eye brightness I'll be happy

I think it's the JBBF module for the wipers, I might be wrong though. I have their adaptor on my watch list on eBay, so it's only a matter of time...

My £11 adapter won't allow access to the lower few, so can't do wipers or bleep on lock/unlock. Will buy the proper adapter when I get paid.

Digital speedo is good though and finally got my airbag light off

Also, I must have coded something without realising unless I didn't notice the feature before, but if I press the boot button once with the car locked... The front & rear lights come on?!

I saw on your other thread about your airbag light, I don't think I would be brave enough to pull the seats apart.
I will test that on mine tomorrow and see of pressing the boot button puts the lights on. I know mine doesn't open the boot, I think it has been set that way though, which I don't mind because it's so easy to lock your keys in the boot.

I don't understand why the digital speedo doesn't come as standard. It's such a good feature!

I changed just the middle one down to low and got my mate to stand at the front of the car, angel eyes were bright until I turned the headlights on and then they switched to low.

Where are you? Anywhere near the north west?
Hmm, pretty sure my AE are still dimming. I've turned all the above options to 'very high'. Not sure what's gone wrong

Can you code the car to tell it has a new battery with this?

Unless they just seem to be dimming because the main beam looks so bright, I'm not sure?!? Maybe drop the guy an email, there might be a different option if you have a LCI.
I will get someone to turn the lights on for me while I am looking at them and see if they dim at all

Have a play with the options and turn down the one that is for when the lights are on and then you will see them dim. If it does that then when you turn it to very high then that might be the brightest you can have them

Good question. Also interested.

Specifically, if the specification of the new battery is different to the previous one.

Not that I know of. I think it's just turning options on/off and fault code clearing/reading

Agreed, should we all email him with the request and get him to work on it.

It would probably need to save your original gearbox map somewhere so you can switch it back.

Set all corona settings to very high, both EU and American versions.
