Leaking lower heater core hose, question inside... [SOLVED]

So I have a very small, but consistent leak at the connection of the lower heater core hose where it enters the actual heater core.. I see on RealOEM there's a kit which is comprised of a small silver clip and an o-ring, so I assume it's my o-ring that is faulty in there, but I'm just curious if I have to still remove the entire dash just to get that hose to be maneuverable enough to slide on the new hardware..?

The upper and lower heater core hoses are connected at the firewall junction with this plastic grommet looking piece, so I'm not sure if removing that silver clip on the hose alone will allow me enough room to remove the hose and install the new hardware to fix this leak.. I called BMW and also checked my Bentley manual, neither were of much help, and I just figured I'd ask to see if anyone else encountered this issue and how they went about replacing it..

Any insight is appreciated..

PS - I've attached a pic showing where the leak is happening in which I've circled..

You can swap out the o rings without pulling the dash

Alright cool I'll order that kit and knock it out.. Probably common sense, but I should probably drain the coolant out of my car before doing it right...?? I know some cars have a valve that only sends coolant when the heaters on, but obviously since mine's leaking I assume we don't have a valve like that...

Remove the hoses at the firewall, blow some compressed air at the connectors to blow out the coolant out the heater core to minimize coolant getting on your carpet. E90 dont have a water valve so your good on that aspect

Yeah I was thinking about doing something like that to blow the air out.. My only concern is that it's the actual heater core itself leaking, as I imagine it to be just like a small radiator.. The ironic part to that would be my actual radiator just started leaking a few weeks back and I replaced it with an upgraded CSF radiator.. I'll post a video I just took for reference..

So I actually used a 6' piece of soffit, and bent it to slide under the heater core, and let it run right on out of my car down the driveway lol..

Got it all done in about 12 hours from start to finish, taking a few breaks here and there, and watching youtube videos on how certain things came out and got put back together.. I was able to move the inlet/outlet hoses and sneak it out just as you mentioned.. Thanks for your help man I appreciate it..!
