Hmmm. Noted.
Will this do?

Right now I'm getting the signal via a Line out converter that get a signal from the amp's output to the sub.

So it's just a matter of switching out the amp.

The results are being oversimplified.

Just swapping out the underseats won't neccesarily improve the midbass evenly.

Keep researching... lots of good, detailed info on this forum.

Amplifying the underseat OEM woofers IMO is the best bang for your buck upgrade you can do in this car (with L7 system). After putting a sub in the trunk, amping the OEM woofers, and adjusting the level to the rest of the system, the weakest link will definitely not be on the low end.

Back on the topic of reviewing. I listened some more using mp3 CD's playing directly off the head unit instead of through my iPod (connected via Harmon Kardon Play & Drive 2). The detail in sound and instruments was much clearer. When it came to certain songs, it was like I was swimming in music. Corney, yeah I know. Anyways, I still prefer to keep the logic 7 "on" and set to music. That seems to fill a certain emptiness I hear when playing most of my songs with it off.

Just returned a stage 1 kit for a E46 with HK. Returned it for the stage 1 for a E90 M3 will install as soon as it arrives and post a review. I heard a stage 1 in a fellow M3 owner and it was amazing.

Your OEM Individual Audio speakers are excellent and don't need replacement, IMO. What you should replace are the OEM underseat woofers with a separate amp and aftermarket 8" woofers.
