Mine is worse, she saw an M3 and asked me if the "one with the slashes on its badge" was a hybrid .

Hey, don't mock Mums Carl.

She cooks your tea (and you had no idea what smeg was, both versions) and helps look up tyre pressures when you panic call. Remember ?

Good ol' Mums.

My Mum said to me when I got the Cayman "Helen, how on earth are you going to get in and out of that car comfortably, it would cripple me." Obviously without hesitation I reminded her that I am 22 years younger than her. "Well yes I suppose so, I'd forgotten about that" was the reply. "Friggin hell Mother" was my next reply followed by the pair of us laughing.

Wouldn't be without her though and she makes the best apple charlotte ever, best bread and butter pudding and her roast pork with crackling is superb to name a few lol.

Carl - didn't your Mum refer to us as your 'imaginary friends'?

Geoff, do you want me to ask her for the recipe? I can remember most of it but wouldn't want to miss something.

This is a car forum isn't it.
