Aftermarket intakes on e92 328i

I've been doing some research on the forum and it seems that most members are pretty happy with simota cf intakes, and i was wondering if the same ones that fits into e90 (325 + 330) will fit in my e92 328i as well

I know they are different engines, but all the intake components look pretty much the same (visually), so does that make after market intakes for e90 fit e92's, in particular 328i's?

How come your car is e92? Isn't it e90? I thought all non twin turbo/m kits were based on the e90. The e92 was based on the twin turbo series...?

E92 = 328i 328xi and 335i
E90 = 325i 328i 330i 335i

I thought the e92+e90 328i engines are based on the X3 engine and is different from the e90 325+330 engine, and its definitely different from the 335 engine because its force induction and is made with different materials

From what I understand, both the 328i and 335i have the same inline 6 engines. Only different is the 335i has a twin turbo

I continue to be shocked by the horrific information that is stated around here.

read any maintsream magazine let alone a true technical article and you will realize you are wrong:
