Matt, I am very interest to see the results !!! but don't hold out on the little HP tricks if you have some... These cars are too slow not to squeeze every last bit out of them.

will you cool it before this thread gets locked without Matt's dyno results? Neither Long nor Matt were offended by each other, so no need for you as a bystander to get your knickers all twisted
be civil pls

dont worry, be happy

we can always creat a 'new thread' and go for the second, third, or fourth round, until there is a knockout! Although i think our duo (mark/Jason) referees are pretty fair and has the anything goes rule (with a few minor exceptions).

Go ahead and read a little closer. No one has claimed to gain 35-40 horsepower. at all. I said that's how much hp these cars have LOST below their rated horsepower. And I have a 330, not a 325, so me hoping for 215 is a LOSS not a GAIN.

Go flame elsewhere.

Well, I hit 216 wHP (last dyno) in the dead of summer on a hot day. I think 215 wHP is possible just given the weather variability. Cooler air = denser air = more O2 = more power.

Matt, you have 6MT or step?

Good luck Matt! I sure hope you make the the target. Too many times have I seen people doubted and come through in the end! I remember many people told me/my engine builder that we would not be able to make 620HP out of my 408 windsor and still be driveable. Well that windsor made 624HP (NA on pump gas) and runs just fine with AC on.

Good luck! Cant wait to see the results.

...

Man I love my car.

330i, step, with Carbon Filter delete. quite warm out too.

Max HP of 213.83. I'd say that's pretty goddamn close to 215. So for those of you who were naysayers, what do you say now?

EDIT: I thought the graph showed it, but it doesn't. It was 89.5 degrees out.

Thanks Long, I appreciate the round of applause! lol

Zolti and Mike ( who are AWESOME, and SUPER knowledgable) at Technik are under the impression that NON-RFT's would only have earned me another 1-3 hp.

you would have hit your goal with non run flat tires. if you bet me you would have lost.

Keep in mind, I said I expect ABOUT 215. not EXACTLY 215. 214 is GREAT by me.
