I have the exhaust, intake, and throttle body coming by the end of the month. 1700 is a lot but I get a crazy deal as I am the Dinan rep for my BMW dealership. Lets just say I got all 3 things for less than the price of 1 exhaust.

not in combination with all 3 parts. Also if you read up you will see that Michaels was not working properly.

The throttle body has been consistently tested to gain torque and power with the modified stock airbox. Perhaps it was the combination of modifications on my car (namely with the GruppeM intake), or even test conditions that adversely affected my outcomes.

Can't wait for the report. I plan on doing the same but would prefer to buy a kit if Dinan ever comes through on the software.

Eat your hearts out.......I just had installed thru the dealership the New
Dinan exhaust for the E90 BMW - 6spd. It's Awsome! Plus makes the car faster. I was able to get 10% off the dealer price plus another 10% Dinan
mail in Rebate. 1st Installed Dinan Exhaust at the dealership. Who cares what the system looks like? The only thing you see is the Chrome Tips with
DINAN across the tips. Speaking of Tips they must be 3'' or more wide.
Plus you get a full new car warranty. The cheap exhaust who knows and if not installed correctly and damages your car.......you get to EAT the repair bill!
Paying more now at least is like buying an insurance policy~

+1 It sounds awesome you could feel a little more power I mean its no m3 or 335 but it is a bit quicker very happy. I also have the intake and throttle body installed. Will try to dyno later no money due to the holidays.

It's too bad the exhaust options for our cars are so expensive. I thought other cars I've had were pricey but they have nothing on Dinan and even Eisen.
$1000 for a muffler and another $700 for pipes to the cats is ridiculous.

thats what happens when your move up to a more expensive car. I payed over 550 for my TRD exhaust on my 2000 Celica GT-S(only Axel back) for my celica so 1600 for the whole setup is not that bad IMO.

TRD is overpriced crap as well so that's all you've had experience with. Getting ripped off shouldn't be fine since its always been the case, ya know?

Can you hook us up on a group buy for the set at that price???? Or somewhere close to what you paid...

Coming from Japanese cars, I thought GReddy and HKS were expensive back 20 years ago. I guess it's all relative.

I do love the sound of the Dinan exhaust, and it's not for looks or just sound. It does what a performance exhaust is supposed to do.

you talk like a doctor.

BTW: are you going to quad exhausts or Dinan? You sound pretty enamored with the Dinan set-up.
