Installed and ausome

I just had my Dinan Exhaust installed yesterday and it is great. The sound has been well documented with the great video by ksfrogman - thanks. Here are some pictures of the old vs the new - the new is actually better build quality and smoother bends than the stock BMW.

Enjoy

Interesting that the Dinan isn't a direct bolt on exhaust..
They must have tested it without the 2 post cat cans
It's making me wonder if i should remove mine

My 10 year old daughter can weld better than that!

And speaking of intakes, what is up with that crazy intake they're selling.. black dryer hose and some metal panel pieces? Sheesh! So much for quality goods for high prices... now it's just high prices.

It really saddens me to see what BMW tuners are charging for stuff. Look in the Mustang arena - GT500 cars, +80 HP with a chip and intake (total cost $650). You want a totally new exhaust? (one that doesn't look like it was used to train someone how to weld) only $800.

Whoever up above said it - it's just some pipes and cans - nailed it on the head. There is no tuning to be done here, it's literally, make it flow better and have less bends. Done.

Ridiculous.

Ok, so it doesn't look pretty, and you have to put some faith in the company history and the newest feedback, but by most accounts the sound and finished appearance are pretty sweet, and you can either take it or leave it and accordingly find those who will make compelling arguments for each side... What I can tell you without a blink is that I don't want to be in the "Mustang arena", however cheap the cost.

overpriced crap?????? apparently you know nothing about their exhaust on the GT-S. The was a 8 exhaust shootout in turbo magazine on a dyno and track and the TRD gave the most HP and Torque and was the best built. It was also not the most expensive. Also IMO it sounded the best because it was not lous and didnt buzz on the highway. Please do more reasearch before you talk out of your ass. I bought the part that was best for the car and TRD was it. Do they make some parts that re not the best? Of course they do but for the exhaust it was the best one and still is so try again with your analysis.

I cant because then I would sell it less that dealer cost. Lets just say I got all three parts for about 1600.

apparently you know little about tuning. The Mustang is SUPERCHARGED so for cheap you will get a lot of power. Also its an AMERICAN car so parts are less. They charge more for parts on a German car in case you have not noticed. Do they charge more just because its a german car that costs more, of course. Its called business and its about maximizing profits. Am I saying the Dinan is the best exhaust in the world? No. Look at the chip for the 335i because its turbo if you want to caompare it to a Mustand thats SUPERCHARGED.

you should be in and out the same day. I dont think its more than 4 hours. Let me knnow when your coming and we can work something out. If it is a wedensday thats may day off so we could leave the car at work then go out for a few hours get food and see what else is going on.
