i completely agree. The additional performance gain of a DCI is marginal at best; in fact, you probably wouldn't even see any real world gains, except for the change in sound of the car.
Its always going to be debated, but until someone can offer scientific proof or numbers that solely correlate dci to performance gain, i think the money can be spent on something better...

Ok good. So not sure I'm adding much to what has already been said...but Burger dci is an economical, effective option. Option 2 is a performance filter for the stock air box (many do this), third would be an expensive cf cold air intake (dinan, etc.) but those are $$$ and incremental perf. gain over a $50 drop in filter is negligible.
