245/40/R18 vs 255/35/R18 tires

I ordered a set of Apex Arc 8s in 18x9 ET30 for my E90 328i Xdrive. I’m going for a square setup on stock suspension but am unsure what tire size to get. I don’t mind using spacers. I’m wondering if the turn in will feel slower on 255s. Anybody run these setups and have some feedback?

I'd look seriously at 235/40/18, the 245 and 255 are just too large on the front of an E90. Isn't ET30 about 5mm too aggressive on the car also?

18 x 9 square with 245/40 is my exact setup.

255's are doable up front with negative camber.

They might be a bit pokey if you're on 100% stock suspension + camber.

I have 18x9 et30 front with 255/35r18. Pretty common setup even with stock suspension. I'd do that, the 245/40's look a bit beefy which I don't care for (although some do).

It will depend a bit on the tire brand too. I run Conti DWS and they're kind of rounded, I have a ton of clearance. With the Michelins I had before I could get it to rub ever so slightly on that bumper bracket but it was never an issue at all.
