My 335i was dropped off with the shippers last tuesday. I was told to wait a week for it to appear in thier system so on monday I starting looking.
Nothing. I emailed 2wglobal.com about this and they cant find anything either. They asked me for a Bill of Lading and/or Booking number but I dont have these. I didnt ship the car, my buddy did so I called him up and he told me he sent all the paperwork to me. I emailed that paperwork to 2wglobal tonight and I hope they can come up with something. Just another headache. At least I was able to pick up my other POS car today. |

I had a similar experience when I shipped my M3 from NY to CA. To make a lon story short, they "lost" the driver and truck for days. It was a nightmare because there really wasn't any immediate recourse as the company had no idea WTF was going on either. He surfaced several days later and apparently was "sick" in a motel room somewhere in the midwest. It ended up all right in the end as I got my car and saved money on the tip.
I would only use Horseless Carriage, FedEx, or one of the other top, top tier shippers from now on, regardless of price. |

I've known a few truckers. They're all tweakers. I'm not surprised that a driver and truck got "lost" for a few days. My guess is he went on a bender.

The shipper is the same company that BMW uses for all of thier cars because BMW paid for it. I will wait on another email from the shipper and if they cant tell me anything I will ask muy buddy to call the shipper in Germany to figure out what is going on.

Are you sure the car went via 2wglobal? I know that my car went on another shipping line. Unfortunately the other lines don't seem to have the tracking by VIN that 2wglobal has. Your CA can find out which ship you're actually on.

My BMW tracker showed mine as enroute from Germany. My SO drove by the dealer and it was sitting on the lot. There may be a few inconsistancies with these tracking systems.

2wglobal was written on the paperwork by the shipping company. The car is heading to Brunswick so it has to be 2w. |

You might be able to call up BMWNA. Ask them to look up the info on your VIN. I dont know if this will work though.
