So whats the deal is this happening or not? I dont want to waste a day and head down there if its not.

BTW......Vegas without Mfest isnt quite as fun......I missed that stuff. BUT, Aerosmith/Sammy Hagar put on the best show Ive ever seen (over 100 concerts and each of them 3+ times aero 7th time) so yea that was good. Its amazing what happens when the singer of the band gets clean and sober, LOL

Vegas is always fun no matter what

I am still thinking about going this Wednesday, August 8. I will be there around 5. I may not stay too long though (3 runs or so). I'm just itchy to test the car out with the JB3.

Yea, maybe push it back. The weather looks crap this whole week for afternoon storms, and maybe we can get a few more people to join on in as well.

Sounds good. Any Wednesdays this month would work (beside the last Wednesday of the month).

It didnt rain? Man we got dumped on here. Surprised it even happened.

As for your times....what were your traps? I was running 13.9-14.1 almost everytime and trapping 103-104 everytime when i had the V4. Matt and I were trapping the same but he was running 13.3 since he launched so much better.

If your traps are 102-105 then that would just mean you need to get the launch alot better or some new tires or something.

Did not really spin too much, but I did not shift too good best 60' time was 2.214. I did not launch it hard at all though (3K)

That JB must be accounting for altitude and running you safe I think. Would like to know what your boosting on those maps...any logs?

You should install a temporary boost gauge Alfred to make sure your boosting past 8 psi.

It looks like around 13 psi on both map 1 and map 5. I got only 2 logs that I already sent to Terry. I forgot to charge my laptop before Bandimere

I was thinking about this too last night. But I'm gonna wait to see what Terry has to say. He said I was running on a very old firmware. He said I should be hitting 17psi with 100+91 octane (that I was running last night) and 14psi on 91. Not sure exactly what he meant....I thought I got the latest firmware.

Sounds like he is trying to say 17 psi with 100+ octane and 14 psi with 91 octane. Maybe your just not launching hard enough. You just need a little more seat time in the car and you'll get some better times.

Regardless of the times, you should have been at least hitting 103-104mph easily. I can hit 101mph with just my JB1, something is definitely going on...you sure you turned off traction control and you are flooring it the whole time?

Yes and yes. I have had the feeling since day one that the JB3 is not working properly. The car feels slightly faster than stock.

13psi is probably all you want to mess with up here anyway stock. Remember, we are hitting most likely 9-10psi on the hot days STOCK. The stock ecu can go to 10.5psi to account for altitude and air temp, and when its like 40 out we are maybe seeing 5-6psi...it keeps it so the car feels the same all the time.

I know without DP's and IC/meth I wouldnt want to be hitting 17psi up here.....not good on these little guys Im sure.

Craig seems to have a good knowledge of boost and such, am I correct on this that 13psi here is like 16psi sea level because the snails have to turn much faster to hit that 13psi?

I was told by Terry that I do not have the newest software/firmware of the JB3. I have the 7/4 interface with 4/22 firmware...I will download the newest version and see. I kind of doubt that it will help me get in 13s though

Craig - you seem to know a lot about tuning the JB3. Can you help me tuning it?
