I have definitely slowed my progress with building the D just because of lots of life changes and also with what seemed like a lack of interest for the build. However hopefully soon large changes will start to take place, in the next couple months my hope is to build the transmission. I've been toying with the idea of exedy stage 2 fibers, a custom valve body and converter as well as some billet 6r80 components. After that Ohlins track and sport suspension setup with some M3 pieces sprinkled in and wheels and tires. Ive concluded that this will be my forever car so only time and funds are required to progress with it now. Also worth mentioning, if anyone is interested in something custom or has cool ideas for the 335D platform please let me know I now have a job that allows me to work on new products and I want to continue to make this platform as cool as possible.
I dont think its a lack of interest as much as it is most of the forum members moving to the FB group. If you've got any updates or updates, please do share them, I know I'm interested. Either way, I think forums like these are a good place for archiving information for anyone researching these things down the line.

I’m definately interested in your progress. I do go to the NABDOG FB forums but always seems it is more core tech here.

It makes me sad that no one posts here anymore... Anyway I just thought I'd post this here. More to come.

@Andy198712 I'm not really sure at this point what happened. The whole chick or the egg situation. The oil pump bolt and gear were both broken off the pump and the oil pump timing chain is snapped. Needless to say its a bummer. Im just hoping the journals on the crank and cams didn't get damaged and same goes for the turbos. Ill know more once I get the injector puller and can get the head off.

North American Diesel Owners Group. Harder to search for info but you'll get faster responses there to any questions you may have.

Did you ever get the def tank set up for use as the meth tank? I didn't see any pictures, wondering if you have any.

Thanks.
