Single Turbo EBC Question

Probably a stupid question but I want to confirm.

If a single turbo car has a custom MHD flash only tune, can the electronic boost controller be temporarily removed and just run off the wastegate pressure / springs?

Should be fine. I start all my single turbo tunes on spring and work up. It's a good way to test and make sure everything's good to start. If you have a custom tune for higher boost it should do ok lower unless it's not set up well, might get a low boost code but that's it. Take a log and see.

Just use a JB4 for boost control, safety, and fine tuning. Works 100% better and makes tuning them really easy.
