what does BC_V_KORREKTUR do on '09 e92 M3?

I know that to correct the digital speedometer on the '09 e92 m3 (once activated) that you set BC_DIGITAL_V_KORREKTUR to nicht_aktiv...

What does BC_V_KORREKTUR set to nicht-aktiv do?...

I set BC_V_KORREKTUR to nicht-active w/o changing BC_DIGITAL_V_KORREKTUR to nicht_aktiv and i didn't see any effect...I read somewhere that you should change both to nicht_aktiv...

Any idea what BC_V_KORREKTUR does?

yes, when it's aktiv it shows the same speed on digital and analog speedometer. If it's nit active then it shows real speed on digital, alomst same as on GPS.

by default, both fields are set to aktiv...i set both of them to nicht_aktiv - which should mean that both are the same and both reflect the accurate speed, right?...

Yes, they should, but I never tested whether this works on analog speedo. I'm sure it works with digital.

I don't think it affects the analog speedo. I've set both to nicht aktiv on my 2013 335is and the analog continues to read the inflated value. Fwiw, I've read somewhere that you can't disable the correction on US market cars.
