Production Completes Tomorrow - Tristin Departs 3/11 - West Coast Delivery
My 335d is in the paint shop and is scheduled to be completed tomorrow. By the time it gets to the port at Bremerhaven, it will be March. The Tristin sails from Bremerhaven on March 11 bound for the west coast. Anyone else completing production and bound for the west coast?
Here is a shipping schedule: http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...pe=generatePDF

67R60,
My dad 528 finished production and made it on the Don Juan within 2 days earlier this month. There is a chance for you. Funny thing is we both ordered our car on the same day and his car will get here a month in advance of mine. Oh well, I will keep my fingers cross for you. |

I am a west coast delivery as well. My car is scheduled to finish production on 3/4. How exactly do you find out what ship it will be on? I see the threads on how to track the ship, etc. But how did you find out what ship? Thanks.

Completion to port took 3 days for you then, right? If I don't make it on your ship I'll just miss it. Keeping my fingers crossed.

My 335d is still at the port waiting a vessel. My bet is the Tristan that is now departing Bremerhaven on 3/12. You may make it on the Tristan, but odds are you will make the next one which is the Elektra departing just 4 days later on 3/16. Let's see what happens

Hey Tony,
I have not checked the status of my 335d for a while (over a week). I was in training class all last week and just busy. I called the 800 number and expected the "vehicle at port waiting a vessel". Instead I heard "vehicle is in transit"...what? I emailed my CA at BMW of Seattle and asked him what ship am I on. He responded quickly and told me "Grand Legacy". http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/def...209:09:16%20AM My 335d is already on a ship and in the Celtic sea. My guess it will be at Port Hueneme in early April. My bet you will make the Tristan now set to sail on the 12th. Keep me posted!

I'm hoping to land the Elektra before it takes off on 3/16, but I'm not sure which shipping line they use to get the car from Germany to Oxnard. My car was built in South Africa, so I don't know if the process is a bit different if the car originated in Rosslyn, compared to Germany. I honestly don't even know if it's made its way to Germany yet. I'd think so, since it shipped from Durban on the 21st of February, but I'm not sure. I'm waiting for a response from the dealership.
If my car was on the Elektra, would my VIN return any hits at this point if I entered it in the "Track & Trace" menu on WWL's website? (It isn't right now). |
