yes.

I'm not 100% on the specifics as I was not there, but it was just some calibration in INPA.

He did HR springs on the front and then just made the rear match.

be careful if you're going up 40mils with the bags. If you over extend them you will damage them. I have no idea what the maximum height can be.

Might be different in strength from H4 springs, for research purposes.

My LCI E91 328i xDrive with panaromic sun roof has C8 rear springs.
And Firestone Winter Force tires in 205 are far inferior in dry and ice grip to Bridgestone Blizzak WS-80 that is 195.
Spring manufacturer catalogues (Sachs and suplex at least) have reference to the OE codes (C6, D6, etc). With a bit of poking around you can also find data on their dimensions (wire dia, free length, etc) and calculate approximate rates.

Here's a useful version of the suplex catalogue:

How do I read it. Rear C8 is 06355. What does that mean?

Yeah, and search for 06355 and you can see which model(s) that was used on. Or find the model you're interested in, look up the spring part no's, then reference that to the BMW codes.

The Sachs catalogue is a bit clearer on sport vs non-sport fitments.

Yes, unfortunately the e91 was totaled, but I do love the e91 as a car. Ironically, it was more comfortable for my 6'3" frame than my e39 wagon I have currently. I definitely would love to find another e91 xi or xdrive to play around with and mod, but currently with work and life, don't have the time.

Oh man, just stumbled on this thread. Have been looking for a solution to my E91's saggy rear, especially when loaded up for road trips with a roof box, full trunk, and a hitch-mounted double bike rack!
