N52 sucking in valvetronic gasket

Hey there!

As of recently, my car has been "eating" valvetronic motor gaskets... The gasket has been replaced 4 times in the last 2 months, it lasts a week or so before getting sucked in by an excessive vacuum (noticed the vacuum after removing oil cap, she's sucking like a shop-vac). At this point, I'm not certain where to start... The valve cover was replaced roughly 5 months ago, and the car ran fine up until the gaskets kept failing. I assume maybe the valve cover is to blame, but before I go replacing it again... Is there anything else I should look at?

Thanks for any guidance, it's greatly appreciated.

Did you use an OE valve cover?

That's weird maybe your new valve cover has a bad pcv which is odd. There's a replacement diaphragm that's sold in Russian Bmw parts sites you might wanna try that.

Try replacing just the pcv itself as opposed to the new valve cover gasket, its a lot cheaper than the whole valve cover. Excessive vacuum almost always points to a bad PCV on these cars.
