What exactly did they say?

I'm more interested in mechanical changes than what my grills look like...

I like the new grille, but prefer the old taillight angles, I'll be dropping some blacklines in mine anyway. Glad I didn't wait until 09 for the facelift, because I can handle the old grille even though it isn't my favorite.

Is someone here able to create a photoshop with the following picture and the M-Kit of the E92 ?

I am very interested in such a picture.. i believe that the new M-Sport Pack for the facelifted E90 will get the M-Pack which the E92 already gets.

I hope so. My friend and I were saying they should do it, just like Audi has the S4 Avant. It was two years back when BMW gave me a E91 as a courtesy car, and we discussed it. As long as its not only offered as a xi, and is available in manual.

I agree, that opaque white material almost makes you think there is NO lens underneath there and they've returned to the L shaped tails more like the E46?

We will not really get a good look to see what's up until probably July/Aug.

As for more HP only the ZHP model due in 2010 will get this- that's really the one worth waiting for.........

If you look closely at the taillights, you can see that the quadrant that used to be all white now has red around the border with white in the middle. I think the taillights will look more noticeably different than we think.

You're not joking, right? The main reason to buy a car because of the grill...you made me laugh, dude.

From page 21/28 in the "E82 Training Information & Technical Details" release from BMW.

action only when required and if the DSC/DTC is switched off. Nor does it add to the
vehicle weight and fuel consumption.

Furthermore, the function does not affect handling stability in DSC or DTC mode and the
familiar understeer tendency produced by mechanical differential locks is also avoided.

The feature will also be introduced on BMW 3 Series models with higher performance
engines at a later date.

I speculated in the other two threads of the ZHP or a ZHP-like model returning. They did so with the M-Tech on the e36, very limited, and then the e46 had the ZHP model. I will most likely have my e46 ZHP paid off by 2010, and will hopefully be promoted in my company to where I can afford to ED an e90 ZHP. The downside to waiting to 2010 is similar to what I faced buying an e46 ZHP in 2006, the next model, e90, was allready out. Though the next 3er wont have been released yet, it will most likely be 2-3 short years away. So its a give and take, but I would most likely jump into an e90 ZHP and not wait on the next generation 3er. While keeping the e46 as a DD, unless I end up with a company truck, then I'll gut her and track whore her out...

----

I also speculated in the two other threads that most likely, with the revision of the headlights, the DRL's will be switched to the carona rings on the facelifted e90's with HID's. To follow suit with the rest of the BMW lineup...

I would expect to see connectdrive (or whatever its called) introduced in the facelift as well...

Don't you all get it? The white on the taillights was placed there to fool you so that all you "see" is the old design outline. Now, picture that white area as black. See how it then closely resembles the coupe taillight? I have seen this design on a future 5 series sedan in a car mag while traveling through Europe. It is simply stunning. The sedan rear lights will closely resemble the coupe's and be much more "flashy" than the current design. You will not be disappointed. Trust me.
