easy for you to say "do a search" but when i did search i indeed came across anywhere between 5.5L to 9.5L for fluid drain, i just don't know how much of tranny fluids i should purchase. i asked question because i don't want to be in the situation where i ordered 6L of fluids and i need 9 or 10L. so i was basically asking you how much you ACTUALLY purchased for your service. if that was too much to ask, i don't know what to tell you. basic purpose of this forum is to share informatio and as i mentioned before i haven't yet to come across anyone actually mentioned how much fluids were needed for their tranny fluids service

Do you think a new pan/filter/gasket is necessary for a 40k mile change? Maybe just changing the fluid would be sufficient, and save the expensive and cumbersome pan/filter for 80k.

i personally don't really think to change pan/filter/seal at 40~50k but socom responded it should get replaced. i don't know if he did replace them or just saying it though...
