Removing seat; how to
I dropped something in the track of my passenger seat. What tool is required to remove the seat and how many bolts? I think I also need to torque down my drivers seat as it squeaks a little. I guess from my spirited driving a get pushed back into the seat so much it started to squeak.
From the looks of it seems like a torqx screw type; not sure if I have that tool or not? |

Check around, but I'm pretty sure you also want to unplug the battery terminals so you don't set off your airbag if you unplug the seat cables.

Anybody else? Is just having the car turned off enough or do I need to unplug the battery? What happened was I have a Garmin GPS and when I pulled out the power supply the electrical pieces came out of the tube and stuck in there. Then I tried to pull the pieces out with my finger and one piece flung underneath the seat and got into the seat track. It sucks. Edit: Just 4 torx screws and that's it. Just make sure your car is off and key is out of ignition no need to disconnect battery Last edited by Htown09; 01-28-2010 at 11:50 PM.. |
