You will require 10mm spaces all round or 10mm at front and 15 mm at rears.

I assume the wheels you've just bought have tyres on them, but need replacing? If that's the case, what size tyre are currently on the wheels? In any event, the wheels will sit a long way back in the arch, and there's a risk that the tyres will rub on the springs/suspension. In honesty you'd be better off ordering some spacers, you will need them eventually, and it will be wiser in the long run. I'd go with 15mm all round (you could go 20mm,as there 8" & 8.5 wheels),it will give you: ET32 front ET35 rear You'll need longer bolts to go with the spacers - 40mm on a 15mm spacer. Teddy @SSDD will get you some at a good price. Give him a call 07920 575052 http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/

i would like to have spacers to hand but im flat broke at the minute and im ipatient to get them on as they have been sitting in my room for a month. I test fitted the one of the rears but it looked close the the wishbone arm thingy |

I'd err on the side of caution Fella,I know you're broke but running what you're proposing might cause you more expense. Get the tyres fitted, and try them on the hubs again, see how close they are to the suspension etc. Good luck

Last thing you want it is for the wheel to sit too far inside that it will catch something..brake lines for instant...just saying

Just a quick one fitted them today and im about 2mm from touching the front struts. Took in for a drive and gona rip them off tommorrow as im not happy with how they sit. Order my spacers from Msytle next week 12mm front with longer bolts and 20mm rear that bolt to the hub
Quick pic for anyone interested |

I like it.
I also like seeing different wheels on our E9*'s every now and again. I'm thinking about going for something a little different but have absolutely no idea if they will fit! I like the look of the BMW 172 wheels (I think - the ones on the 5er) but not sure if they will fit an e92.. Last edited by Ste133; 12-07-2012 at 11:48 AM.. |

The rears at ET32 would work, but the fronts at ET18 would rule them out.
