Looks great mate, and with the black carpet it will be much easier to keep looking clean!

My old Lexus had a beige interior and the beige carpet was a PITA to keep looking like new as with wet shoes the carpet use to get grubby easily! I ended up having it scotchgaurded which worked great just required shampooing every few months or so.

Thanks mate this is exactly what I have in mind
I could do with a hand replacing the dashboard, its probably the most difficult of all the bits.... that and replacing the inlays of the door panels
Hey socket I can help you with the dashboard and door trim installation!

Dash is about a 4 hours job, door trim is about 20 mins per door

Regs will recall that I'm having some trouble getting SPCGRY to settle down following the install of the RBs and VTT inlets

Keeps throwing an overboost half engine light, misfires and surging under heavy acceleration, not to mention the light smoking while stationary.

Is clearly not properly tuned, but until i can get it smoothed out, I cant do a decent log and get the tune sorted

So off to Springy motors to put it on the dyno and see what they can turn up

Turns out the overboost was caused by the levels being set too low in the JB4 at 7.8 max!!! No wonder it kept going half engine on me.... also the lamba seems to bouncing around putting on the fuel and then immediately cutting it back creating a wave like curve on the dyno, which explains the surging.

Once sorted did a soft 3 gear run to see if the car would run smooth.... ... Bottom trace is with the car overboosting and stuff. Top trace is with the overboost fixed.... Didn't get to do a proper run but I thought I'd post anyway

By disassembled do you mean you are swapping the beige leather part from your current door cards over to the black door cards so it looks like this?

OMG!!! that's what it was?

Since you don't have a USD cable to change stuff.. you/someone must have fiddled with it and changed it accidentally...

Which is why you NEED the mobile app!!!

Ha you wouldn't be the first to accidentally have the JB4 on the wrong map/setting etc

That's what I loved about the cobb, you load the map and its set

So whats the next step, do some logging and send to wedge?

lol im sure its happened before

Actually running MHD with JB4 managing boost. Trebila is doing the tune. Currently running his base map matched to my mods

When I get the car sorted Ill do some 3rd gear wots and continue the tune with him

btw any idea why the lamba would be putting fuel on and then immediately cutting it back??

MOD 37 - Lux Reversing LEDs

Thanks to Dons GB, now sporting new Lux reversing LED lights
Pictures don't really do these bulbs justice, I'd have to say they are at least 3 times brighter then stock.
