blew chargepipe -chances my c clip is still somewhere?

So as it states, blew the end of the chargepipe connecting to the TB last weekend. I ordered the BMS CP but was unaware until now, that i needed the OEM c clip still.. What are the chances its still laying in the undercarriage or on the broken CP? Im at work now, first thing on the to-do list is check the car when i get home.

If its gone, what steps should i take from here? Thanks

unfort the C clip is not sold separate from the OEM CP.
you should hope you can find it in the engine bay, where the CP broke is where the CP sits, so doubt its on there.
you best bet may be to get a Coupler style aftermarket CP.
C clips for sale are pretty rare, and overpriced for what they are

Take the bottom pan off and hope its there. Most of my customers that this has happened to have found it.

The silicone coupler charge pipes are an option but a poor option as they are much more prone to popping off then the proper C-clip Flange.

Have you taken the chargepipe off yet? When my CP popped, the clip stayed with the CP.

There's a o-ring so it does take a little force to pull it straight out. Or you can just unplug it, let it stay on the CP, then remove the sensor when the CP is out.

With those mods, the OEM CP was bound to fail. I hope you find the C-Clamp tho. The OEM ones are def hard to come by. I have seen some people use a coupler as well though. Good Luck

It's sitting on your undercarriage plastic cover... There really is nowhere for it to go when that plastic piece is in place.

If you can't find the clip let me know my OEM chargepipe is sitting in my garage collecting dust.

I do know what it looks like, I just havent had a chance to get the car lifted up to take the undercarriage off. I looked for a while from the top down with a flashlight to no avail...

Although i got under the car as far as i could and knocked around on the plastic and i could hear what is hopefully the clip sliding around a bit.

With a strong magnet, you might be able to move it to the little flap that opens to access the oil pan drain plug.

Blew my CP last month and had the same worries but took off the cover and found it lying in there. It will also catch the screws and tools you will inevitability drop when installing it too!
