You just unbolt the old wastegate from the turbo and the wastegate valve, bolt in the new one, set vacuum to 6 (forgot the units) just like the stock wastgate, and its good to go.

Does that help?
Yep, thanks for sharing. I know I'm not on the N55 forums as much anymore but I completely missed this.

Can these HD wastegates be used on a stock turbo? I am currently peaking at 19-20 psi tapering down to 16 psi at redline on 93 + meth. Could the HD wastegate on stock turbo keep the boost up to 18 psi at redline?

Yes they could, as to what the results would be on a stock turbo I am not sure. I know I have seen vacuum actuated adjustable ones on Ebay that I have been curious to try. The main difference with BMW wastegate actuators is that they are vacuum actuated and not boost actuated like they are on most turbos.

As 9k said, It could. But IMO, the limitation on the stock turbo is the turbo. I believe the stock wastegate gets pushed open on upgraded turbos and higher boost, the hd wastegate fixes that. Not sure if the same problem exists with the stock turbo and wastegate.

If you are holding 16psi at redline on the stock turbo, you are doing really well. My car was at 11psi at redline on stock turbo 100% wgdc.
