How often should I change oil for track

since last oil change...I have put about 2or3 tanks of fuel in my car and 1 track session used about 23 liters in the time I was there should I change it after every track session or after next time I go which is soon...I'm am running Castrol Syntec 5W40 With a bit of Lucas stabilizer...how often you guys change after every track session?

Why are you using Lucas? When you say track season do you think of track day? Sessions are on average 20 min long. Also we need more relevant info: what engine? what oil temperature? and etc.

N52 2009 and I meant track night I guess from 4-8pm About 5-15min sessions and Lucas good stuff is it not you recommend not using it...?

I don't recommend Lucas no. It is BMW n52 not Caterpilar 3126. Assuming that you are novice I would not change the oil only after 5-15 min sessions. Change it at the normal/scheduled interval.

Ok for the Lucas only had in for 1 oil change before pretty recent and this one very short definitely not good to put in lol...and I'm quite advanced driver better then most at track especially the drift aspect I pushed my car pretty hard..I gonna change after next track night then thanks for the feedback appreciate it

I was going to change after every track day but didn't want to be over kill just getting someone else's opinion but thanks anyways

I change mine either every 3 track days or if i do around 3k miles plus a track day since i daily the car

Every 3 track days or >3000 miles.

Oil is cheap, engines are not.

I read a bunch of threads about people going up to 10 track days with 5,000 miles and getting decent black stone lab reports back. But I hit oil temps of 270-280 which is fine for synthetic but again, oil is cheap so change it. Its under 50$ for castol 0-40.
