As with most things, one thing lead to another, after fitting bigger ER oil coolers, needed wider arches/bumper. I wanted a better exhaust, which was light, so titanium was the option - did have a lightweight titanauspuffanlage for a while, very very light, but too loud for tracks!

Hence, battery tray etc lead to an off the shelf 1M exhaust, then rear bumper, so it made sense to go the whole hogg and use 1M parts, but stay focused for the track.

Hence I don't call it a 1M (although it has pretty much all the same bits, inc rear subframe/m3 dct diff etc), after alot of time, effort and money, prefer to label it a 1CSL

Rather not hijack Raj's thread..
She's been a real labour of love and so worth the end result.
Hijack away bro lol.

There's always something ain't there. I've been the proud owner for a month tomorrow but think I have spent more time cleaning it, modding it and tidying bits up than actually driving it

That splitter is the business, you just want to wrap it in bubble wrap and protect it from nasty speed bumps and kerbs!!

Tbh it just doesn't stop. I've been going at it for more than 20years on every car I've owned and still yet to reign myself back in LOL.

Hey Raj. Have had a look through you build and it is certainly inspiring to carry out such mods.

Hats off to you your car looks awesome

Wish i had the time and money to carry out the mods that i see going on this forum.

Also do you happen to have been strolling down stafford road today in wolverhampton around 6ish?

Saw an e92 which i could swear looked just like yours

Thanks for the kind words buddy.

There's definitely more I'd like to do but with house modding now taking over think I'll be a bit quite on the build thread lol.

Yes that would have been me

I know there's quite a few of us from Wolves so think we should organise a meet maybe.

Yeah I still don't think bags are great for handling though (but I'd like to take a car out for a test to maybe change my mind) as I do like to drive spiritedly from time to time

that is true, they are Defo for show over performance. My friend Dan who's on the e90post facebook page has a bagged yellow e92 335i, may be worth speaking to him to get some feedback. He owns s6 wraps.

Yeah I know Dan.
I know a few guys who run them but I've never actually driven a car with them personally yet to distinguish.

Lol tell me about it. With a wife, kid and house to my name my mods have died down. Every £ spent on the car = an hour of moaning from the wife!

But would be great if we can sort a meet.

Ive been in wolves all my life and been a Bmw owner for about 3 years now but i'm fairly new to the forum.

I have been meaning to post a thread of my own little build. Well not much of a build but little mods here and there. More of an introduction of myself and car really but never had the time to do it!

Tbf my wife is great about it as she's used to it after some 20 years LOL.

And she now drives the modded X5 and loves it so it's all good.

House modding is taking over this year completely from now but still have a few small things to do on the car.

Haha you're lucky then!! Mods are never ending. One thing leads to another and before you know it your bank account is empty! Plus side though atleast you have a beast parked outside your house
