You can make it an android based system. You Dan always buy the silver trim or vinyl wrap it

I am a huge fan of the CIC system, do you have a Combox with BT audio or just a TCU?

I was just bitching a bit. My plan is to install the alu trim at some point, but I think the wood grain looks good especially with the grey interior. Can you direct me to more info about updating the system to Android?

The key will be the MOST loop. Any and all modules on the loop still need to be communicating with each other.

Hi guys, been 7 years since I owned BMW (was an E46 325i)

now I'm craving for it again, I'm thinking to go for E93 (either 330/335) coz it is just stunning car for me.

Here in Dubai the odo is ranging from 80-100k miles, is there any insider tips to look at before buying it?

So much appreciate and thanks!

80-100k is a great millage. The valve cover, oil filter housing, drive belts and water pump should all have been replaced by 80k.

Thank you

Great information for me to use when I am searching for a new car. My current e90 May need to be sold because of a lot of issues popping up in the last 2 months. Had to change the starter, alternator and now having coolant leaks.

Not really a reason to sell it. If there is something wrong, fix it. Buying another will not help that. You would just be losing money by selling one that needs fixing to buy another.

Agreed, unless you are buying new, you are buying someone else's problems. I see so many ppl doing this, so many bargains with German cars, in my area especially BMWs, they tank more than any other car for resale because ppl lump them in the same boat. As long as you stay away from their V8s you are more or less fine if you can wrench.

not always.

It's taken me to 135K before my valve cover leaked. OFHG started leaking around 120ish.

I did the drive belt myself at 101K when I purchased.

and I still have the original waterpump and t stat with no issues at 139.

hehe... over 185k on both water pump and VCG before they were changed.

The cycling of the car on/drive/off is pretty long. My Monday morning commute is around 5 hours and the same on Thursday home. Around 265 miles one way. So the car get to operating temp and goes long distance.

It's short distance driving that absolutely kills these cars.

Good to know. I drive about 5,000 miles a year and almost never on the highway.
