Active Steering
Has anyone been able to code out Active Steering?
My 2007 e92 335I has it and I can't install VTT Shotgun Kit becasuse of it. I would love to just replace it with an M3 steering rack and be done with it. I just don't want to have a bunch of lights on after I remove it. |

I have on a e92 and e60 its little tricky, you have to remove the a/s vo and code default KOMBI, SZL, SGM, that should be enough, remove a/s fuse/module, than in order to get the DSC error light out you need to flash DSC with NON A/S zb# winkfp EXPERTMODE !!!

A/S Active Steering, VO Vehicle Order
1)Removed Active Steering Fuse in GloveBox or Module 2) Remove $217 from VO/FA and coded default KOMBI, SGM, SZL, this should clear the error if error is still there manually read KOMBI and set any AFS string to Nicht_Active 3) Than if you have DSC dash light AND YOU WILL lol, use WINKFP to flash EXPERT MODE use google for PDF (BMW winkFp ExpertMode) You can use RealOem to figure out the zb# or find someone without $217 Active Steering or $216 Servotronic and use their DSC zb# 4) Than Just perform Steering Angle Calibration ista d or Tool32 and all good to good |

Dear Forum,
for a special project I need to get my DSC MK60E5 flashed with NON-ACTIVE Steering Software. I have read all details here in this thread I have used EXPERT Mode to flash it with the ZUSB 6776067. Sadly I get an error 211. with the detail (see attached screenshot and errorlog) When flashing back with the original ZUSB 6791524 I can make it work again. This is the current AIF: Einträge des Anwenderinfofelds: -------------------------------------- Eintrag 1: Fahrgestellnummer: P193837 Datum: 29.03.2008 Änderungsindex: 00 Softwarenummer: Behördennummer: Zusammenbaunummer: 6784766 Seriennummer: Programmstand: Kilometer: 0 Händlernummer: -------------------------------------- Eintrag 2: Fahrgestellnummer: P193837 Datum: 20.09.2021 Änderungsindex: 00 Softwarenummer: Behördennummer: Zusammenbaunummer: 6791524 Seriennummer: Programmstand: Kilometer: 0 Händlernummer: -------------------------------------- Last edited by kombinator-318; 09-21-2021 at 05:36 PM.. |
