Crazy it's been designed so poorly but glad you've sorted it.

Thinking of getting some winter tyres for my existing 19" rims. Can i go up 5 on the profile front and rear, so its 235/40/19 and 275/35/19?

Edit: got the rear monroe top mounts fitted. The rear has definitely improved, its made it feel more solid and taken the shimmy away of the rear. Well not all of it but its definitely helped. Car feels good.

I want to finally do all m3 arms and solid subframe bushes in Jan.

I'm running 225/40/19 and 255/35/19 on my winters and 255/35/19 and 295/30/19 on my summers.

TBH you can up the profile no issues as long as they are matched front/rear. And also be mindful your speedo will be a touch out so you'll be going slightly quicker than the speedo shows (but it's minor really).

Upping the profile does make the outer diameter larger. Different tires from different makers varry slightly in sizing too. For example Michelin PSS run large. A 275/35-19 will be 26.6" in aouter diameter for an average tire. Stock the car comes with 25" and the 275/30-19 is 25.6" so be aware you need to fit a full 1/2" or 13mm more than what you got. About the same more for the front too.

Does anyone know how much i can sell me 335 brakes for, so the calipers discs and pads?

Thanks.

Had a play with a Range Rover SVR (540bhp) today on the M6. He was tailgating me so i put my foot down and left him then i let him pass and managed to stick right up his arse.

I know it weighs a lot but im impressed with my 9 year old 6-speed 3 litre diesel vs a new 8-speed 5 litre supercharged V8.

Quality. Got to love when things like that happen (not that I advocate that sort of behaviour ).

If you want to see a bad design then look at what BMW did to the hose from our rear Turbos to get past the RHD steering rack. We RHD guys are probably effectively utilising only one of our twin turbos.

BTW I have some spare brand new outlets to sell soon.

Yes.

That's my RB one at the bottom, Vargas one above it. I will be fitting one and selling the other.

I think even on stock Turbos, just swapping that pipe must lead to some significant gains. Just how much additional boost is available if that pipe is sorted out or how much back pressure does it relieve from the rear turbo!?
