6 speed Manual transmission Rarity N54

How rare are MT VS Auto in the N54? N54 335i that is. Anybody know where to find manufacturing stats on this?

Doing a nationwide search for a 2007-2010 335i 218/1424 were manuals which is 15%. I would bet that number is correct +/- 3%

For what it's worth, I am yet to find another manual 335i up for sale in the classifieds here in little ol' NZ, and I check out of interest once every few weeks. To be fair, there are probably only a couple of hundred 335i's registered here (of that era at least) so I'd take a stab and say there are less than 10-15 floating around down here.

I had to drive 3.5 hours to even test drive one that i liked for under 20 when i was car shopping.

since I have bought mine there is usually 1-2 sedans for sale when there is 150+ auto's
E92 6 speeds are not as rare as sedans I could see 15% for coupes but I think sedans are way less

I just got the official data from the relevant NZ government agency. Turns out I have the one and only manual sedan in NZ - and it's an M Sport. In total, there are 273 registered 335s in NZ. A total of 43 are manual therefore a total of 15% in round figures, as per the USA.

Rare. When shopping I wouldn't even look for autos so I was doing a search 100 mile radius and would find about 40 cars. I would be lucky if 5 of them were manual. I originally was looking for a sedan in a manual and not x drive....try finding that.

Would say I got a pretty rare one. Lemans blue on saddle brown. Lci n54 6speed.

I searched forever to find a 6mt n54 with the options I wanted. I was lucky enough to get a 2010 the exact way I wanted.

Point is it was a difficult search.

pretty rare, it took me 6months to find a 6mt m-sport n54 sedan. coupes were easier to find at the time 2 years ago

My son has an E92 rwd MT: there were 1004 of them produced for the US market.

that's for the f30 chassis though with n55. is there another page with earlier info?

Took me a couple of months to find a space gray + manual in the midwest. Came out happy with saddle brown interior as well.

Anyone want my 2010 e92 6mt? 32k miles, jet black, sport, aluminum trim, aero lip, Dinan stage 2, coded lci taillights, and lux h8 160. Garaged , cons ethically and mechanically perfect. Paint perfect, I challenge anyone to find a cleaner one.

Might be in the market for a 2016 m4.

Try to find an E90 xi, 6mt, sport package, premium package, cold weather pack, and aluminum trim. Took me 6 months and had to go halfway across the country to buy it.

274 as of Friday!

picking it up as its fresh of the boat from japan. It was a struggle to find one manual that want LHD. I had to concede in the end. Hopefully I won't regret it too much
