Rough Idle - Valvetronic No Codes Please Help

I have a 2011 BMW 335i. Ok so i replaced my valvetronic motor a few months ago because i was getting codes for it. So when I do the valvetroic startup in ISTA+ runs great and drives normally for about 15 mins. It says it ran through the valvetronic 50 times with 0 problems every time. Then it slowly starts to run like shit. The throttle gets jerky and at idle the car shakes and feels like it has a misfire. I have been battling this for months. If anyone has any idea please help. I did have Jb4 I removed it. Any help would be very much appreciated. THANKS

Did you personally replace the servomotor? Did it feel like the eccentric shaft was hard to turn?

Yeah I replaced it. I used the VDO one from fcpeuro. I dont think it was hard to turn besides the spring load it had on it. I held it with a wrench and removed the stopper and let it down so i could get the motor out.

Are you sure you don't have a vacuum leak causing the bad idle? The PCV valves in the VC can go bad and cause a leak. The 2 vacuum lines connecting to the VC can be damaged on removal. Did you fully reconnect all injectors/coils. I missed fully tightening one of the injector grounds and had a horrible idle with no code.

I'm having the exact same problem! I haven't replaced my Valvetronic motor (actuator) but my rpms bouncy from 1100-500 rpms and I get bad idle and car jerking and when I lock my car I sometimes get a really loud sound coming from the Valvetronic motor. How hard was it to replace and how much did it cost.

Ill will have a check for vacuum leaks tomorrow. I will recheck coils and injectors tomorrow. I also had the car pressure and smoke tested it passed. I just dont get how the car relearns then drives and idles good for 15 mins then after that it just starts to be jerky and shake at idle. I reset adaptations as well

If its like a clicking noise when you wake your car then its your valvetronic. Download MHD and scan it you will most likely have a shadow code for it. The job was pretty easy. You have to do injector seals btw. The hardest part was getting the valve cover out from the fire wall haha. It was like less then $200 for everything if i remember correctly.

Yeah it makes the sound when unlocking or locking I can't remember so it's just the Valvetronic motor or the eccentric shaft? Or are they the same thing

I get a similar clicking noise from my n55 but not when opening or closing, only when it’s already been unlocked and I’m inspecting the engine bay and suddenly it starts clicking for a second or two. I get the bad idle too - bouncing rpms when in slow traffic and vibrations through the wheel and pedals

Mine does the exact same thing. I just unplugged the sensor to the actuator that's under the engine cover and it has oil in it so hopefully that's my only problem.
